Key Responsibilities

The Senior Executive – Client Accounting will report to the management team and your role would include the following duties and responsibilities:

Manage and oversee a portfolio of clients.
Review management accounts, VAT returns, VAT recapitulative statements, and corporate tax returns.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely support and guidance.
Liaise with auditors and other external professionals.
Coach, mentor, and develop junior members of the team.
Delegate and review work to ensure high-quality deliverables and compliance with internal standards.
Attend client meetings and contribute to the development of long-term client relationships.

Qualifications, Experience & Key Skills

A full qualification in accounting or close to completing a university degree at master`s level in Accounting, ACA or ACCA.
At least 2 years’ experience in a client accounting role.
Have a sound knowledge of the IFRS and GAPSME reporting standards as well as the Income Tax Act and the Value Added Tax Act.
Conversant with standard software packages, proficient in MS Excel and ready to learn company-specific software if required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Able to work with a team and possess strong interpersonal skills.
A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver within tight time frames.
