The Senior Treasury Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day functions within the treasury department, which forms an integral part of the Finance Department.

Primary Responsibilities:

Monitoring and managing daily liquidity ratios and ensuring compliance with internal treasury limits and regulatory requirements.

Maintaining relationships with banking counterparties, brokers, and liquidity providers.

Preparing daily treasury, FX exposure, liquidity, and funding reports for management.

Assisting in the development and enhancement of treasury policies, procedures, and controls.

Performing FX Trades, treasury reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies relating to cash, FX settlements, and hedging transactions.

Supporting ALM (Asset & Liability Management) activities through analysis of funding, interest rate, and liquidity risks.

Monitoring counterparty exposures and treasury-related risk limits.

Participating in treasury system enhancements, testing, and process automation initiatives.

Ensuring compliance with AML, sanctions screening, and regulatory requirements relating to foreign exchange transactions.

Providing support during audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance reviews.

Preparing and analysing treasury KPIs and management information dashboards.

Acting as a backup for other treasury functions to ensure business continuity.

Assisting the treasury team in any ad hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

Good understanding of treasury operations, liquidity management, and cash flow forecasting

Sound knowledge of foreign exchange products including Spot, Forward, and Swap transactions

Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in trade execution, settlements, and reporting

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, financial analysis, and reporting tools

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Good understanding of treasury controls, operational risk, and regulatory compliance requirements

Ability to identify process improvements and contribute to automation initiatives

High level of professional integrity, accountability, and confidentiality

Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across Finance, Risk, Operations, and Compliance functions

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate would possess at least 2 years of experience working in similar position

Hold a relevant qualification at a degree level ideally in Banking, Finance, Economics or Management, or equivalent technical knowledge and skills

Experience within a Credit Institution, Financial Institution, Investment Firm, or FX Broker would be considered an asset

Practical experience in FX trading , hedging activities, settlements, and liquidity management

Familiarity with treasury management systems, dealing platforms, and banking payment systems
