Student Services Intern

Position Overview

Join our Student Services team as a Student Services Intern and gain hands-on experience in an international educational environment. This learning placement offers the opportunity to develop practical skills while supporting the Student Services team under the supervision of the Student Services Coordinator and Student Services Manager.

The placement is designed to provide exposure to student support, administration, and the day-to-day operations of Student Services, helping you build valuable professional experience in a multicultural environment.

Key Learning Opportunities & Responsibilities

During your placement, you will have the opportunity to:

Support the Student Services team with daily student enquiries and administrative tasks.
Assist with welcoming new students during arrivals, orientation, and intake days.
Learn about student welfare processes and support student wellbeing under supervision.
Help prepare student documentation and maintain accurate student records.
Assist with attendance monitoring and general Student Services administration.
Support student engagement initiatives, including feedback collection and student satisfaction activities.
Provide administrative support to the Student Services team, including preparing reports and maintaining records.
Collaborate with different departments, including Academic, Accommodation, Activities, and Reception, to support the student experience.
Develop customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in an international environment.

Availability

Full-time learning placement.
Available to start from the end of July.
Placement duration of 6, 8, or 12 weeks.
Based in Malta.

Requirements

Currently studying or recently completed studies in Education, Business, Hospitality, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Good command of English (B2-C1).
Friendly, professional, and eager to learn.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Comfortable working in a multicultural and student-focused environment.
Able to work under supervision while demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn.
Currently residing in Malta and available to complete the placement on-site.
Legally able to undertake a learning placement in Malta.
