The employee working as a Plumbing Installer must be responsible to assisting with the installation and maintenance of Mechanical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

Whilst reporting to Plumbing Charge Hand, the Plumbing Junior Installer must be able to perform tasks such as running wires and cables, mounting electrical boxes, and connecting devices such as switches, outlets, and fixtures whilst is also responsible for tasks such as drilling holes, measuring and cutting wires, and performing basic troubleshooting. This role requires a basic understanding of electrical systems and equipment, good communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.

General Duties include but are not limited to:

Assisting in general plumbing work and preparation as directed.
Assisting with storage, lifting, fetching supplies, unload and check deliveries.
Undertaking tasks to assist the plumber generally.
Identifying hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair; to ensure compliance with agreed codes, law, working practices, and health and safety.
Ensuring compliance with agreed codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety.
Immediately reporting problems/failures that may impact on the organization and/or its clients/customers or which you think may affect health and safety to the Line Manager.
Contributing towards the smooth running of the team.

Position Requirements:

Secondary School Certificate will be considered an asset.
A minimum of two years’ working experience in the mechanical field is preferred.
A solid understanding of the construction industry.
Strong work ethic and a dedication to contributing to the company's overall success and vision.
Personal qualities such as confidence, integrity, and resilience.
Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues.
Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.
Willingness to work collaboratively as a team player.
Problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and a proactive attitude.
Show proficiency in both written and spoken English.
European passport or working permission to work in Malta.
Clean police conduct certificate must be presented
