Shop Assistant

We are excited to embark on a new adventure and we shall be opening a new Asian food grocery outlet soon and therefore we are looking for shop attendants both full time and part time to work from Monday to Sunday on a roster basis.

Our aim is to provide a convenient and welcoming shopping experience, bringing a variety of Asian flavours and products to the local community.

As a new business, we are looking to build a friendly and dedicated team who will contribute to the successful opening and growth of the shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Operate the cash register and process payments accurately.
• Replenish shelves and maintain attractive product displays.
• Receive, organise and check stock.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy and well organised.
• Assist with general day-to-day shop duties.

Requirements

• Previous retail or cashier experience is an asset.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends where required.
• A good command of both English and Maltese is essential.
