DoubleTree by Hilton Malta is looking for a passionate and skilled Part-Time Demi Chef de Partie / Chef de Partie to join the team at SABI Restaurant.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated chef with strong à la carte experience to become part of a dynamic kitchen, focused on delivering exceptional dining experiences. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, pastry, sauces), ensuring smooth operations and high-quality dish preparation

- Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to restaurant standards, maintaining quality and consistency

- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring timely ordering and proper storage

- Manage and train junior kitchen staff within your designated section, providing guidance on techniques and best practices

- Maintain cleanliness and organization within your section, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations

- Assist in the preparation and production of large-scale events or catering services when required

-Supervise food preparation during peak hours, ensuring efficient timing and minimizing waste

-Handle any guest feedback related to your section, making necessary adjustments to improve customer satisfaction

- Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie, Chef de Partie, or in a similar role within an a la carte environment

- In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, cooking techniques, and various cuisines

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
