Main Duties

Advise clients on AML/CFT, sanctions and financial crime compliance obligations
Draft and review compliance manuals, policies, procedures and client advice
Support clients in FIAU/MFSA examinations, remediation exercises and regulatory engagement
Monitor Maltese and EU developments on AML/CFT, sanctions, beneficial ownership and supervisory reporting
Work with regulated entities, financial institutions, and corporate service providers

What skills do you need?

Experience in AML/CFT, sanctions, regulatory compliance, financial services or dealings with the MFSA/FIAU is a plus
Any compliance experience, postgraduate study or relevant certification will be considered an asset
A genuine interest in AML, CFT, sanctions and financial crime compliance
Strong drafting, research and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and sound judgment
Strong written and spoken English
A collaborative, organised and proactive working style

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
