EMCO Ltd is looking for a skilled HVAC Installer to join the team!

Applicants not in Malta will NOT BE CONSIDERED. Candidates who also have knowledge and experience with electrical works will be given a considerate advantage.

Main duties

Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Willingness to assist with any additional and reasonable duties assigned by supervisor
Previous experience with installation of sheet metal duct in HVAC systems and/or sandwich ducting.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately
Proficient with tools and equipment
Project work with commercial clients involving office buildings, schools (private and higher education), manufacturing facilities, industrial food plants, hotels, multi-family housing, etc.
Professional demeanor with good communication skills, good customer service, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well with others and independently
Ability to handle physical workload
Studying building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations
Diagnosing causes of equipment breakdowns, testing parts with appropriate instruments, disassembling and assembling parts, and making necessary repairs
Locating and marking position of pipe and/or duct connections and passage holes for same in walls and floors and then cutting openings to accommodate pipe and/or duct fittings, using hand tools and power tools
Cutting and threading pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine
Connecting motors to control panels and balancing motors to ensure efficient operation and connecting control panels to power source

Requirements

Must have previous work experience
Must presently be in Malta
Be proactive, responsible, and a team player
