Sales Assistant

The Sales Assistant delivers exceptional customer service, drives retail sales, and maintains store presentation standards.

Customer Engagement & Sales: Greet incoming shoppers, assess their needs, answer inquiries, provide tailored product advice, and actively cross-sell/upsell accessories or complementary items. POS & Transaction Processing: Operate cash registers, barcode scanners, and card payment terminals; accurately process cash, card, and digital transactions; handle refunds, exchanges, and store credit per company policy. Merchandising & Store Display: Restock shelves, racks, and display tables from stockroom inventory; ensure merchandise is correctly priced, tagged, neatly folded, or hung according to visual merchandising guidelines. Store Upkeep & Security: Maintain clean, organized, and tidy sales floors, fitting rooms, and checkout areas; stay vigilant on the shop floor to assist with loss prevention and stock security. Stockroom & Inventory Support: Assist with receiving incoming deliveries, unpacking shipments, verifying quantities against delivery notes, attaching security tags, and organizing stockroom shelves. Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on product features, promotional campaigns, active store discounts, and return policies to deliver accurate information to customers.
