The ideal candidate must be an energetic and agile person with a can-do attitude towards work. The chosen candidate will be reporting to the Maintenance Executive and will be supporting the rest of the Maintenance team.

Carrying out regular inspections and examining for defects in building services, plant, equipment and installations, and keeping relative records;
Performing preventive maintenance work on building services, plant, equipment, installations, appliances and tools, without disrupting the production process and keeping relative records;
Attending to faults and breakdowns of building services, plant, equipment, installations and appliances in a prompt manner;
Identifying and locating faults, and subsequently carrying out repair works on building services, plant, equipment, installations and appliances;
Examining drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine the appropriate method and sequence of operations;
Carrying out modifications and new installation work on building services, plant, equipment and appliances;
Supervising contractors' personnel carrying out maintenance, servicing or installation works, and ensuring that work is carried out to standards acceptable to the Company;
Performing technical support functions to assist with the design, development, installation, operation and maintenance of building services, plant and equipment;
Proposing to the Maintenance Department Executive any modifications to plant and machinery that would enhance efficiency or quality standards;
Ensuring that all operational, safety and security standards and regulations established by the Company are always adhered to;
Ensuring that corrugator cassettes are changed according to production requirements;
Ensuring the starting up of boilers and that all steam is working properly prior to the commencement of production;
Logging and updating maintenance orders in the CMMS/ERP system upon completion of each job;
Requesting and tracking usage of spare parts for maintenance jobs performed and coordinating with the Maintenance Department Executive on stock replenishment needs;
Following safe systems of work and using appropriate PPE when carrying out inspections, repairs and installations;
Supporting calibration and certification of machinery and equipment in line with manufacturer or regulatory requirements;
Being available for emergency call-outs outside normal working hours, as required to minimise production downtime.
