Job Description

On behalf of our partner, an established financial services company operating within a regulated investment environment, we are looking for an experienced Risk Manager to take full responsibility for the company's Risk Management department.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience managing the Risk Management function within a regulated financial institution, preferably a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF). Monitor developments in CySEC and EU regulations, ensuring that risk management procedures remain compliant.
Advise the Board and Senior Management on risk exposure, regulatory obligations and improvements to internal risk controls.
Coordinate with internal departments, external auditors and regulatory authorities on matters relating to risk management.
Support regulatory inspections, audits and reviews, ensuring appropriate documentation and corrective actions.
Provide training and guidance to employees and Senior Management on risk management procedures and regulatory requirements.

Demonstrated ability to independently manage the complete Risk Management function, including its operational and regulatory responsibilities.
Practical experience creating, maintaining and monitoring Risk Registers and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
Solid knowledge of regulatory risk reporting, particularly Pillar I, Pillar II and Pillar III.
