The Position

The Bodyshop Assembler will be responsible for:

• Refit and assemble vehicle components, including bumpers, trims, lights, mirrors, mouldings, and interior parts after repair and paint processes.
Ensure all parts are correctly aligned, secured, and functioning according to manufacturer specifications.
Inspect repaired vehicles before delivery to identify and rectify any fitment issues.
Work closely with panel beaters, painters, estimators, and quality controllers to ensure efficient workflow.
Conduct basic functional checks on electrical components after refitting.
Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect parts to the relevant supervisor.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Follow company procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and health and safety regulations.
Support quality control inspections and ensure vehicles are delivered in excellent condition.
Carry out other bodyshop-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Productive Lead to support operational requirements.

The Requirements

Experience in automotive body shop assembly/refitting is preferred.
Technical automotive qualification is an advantage.
Valid driver's licence is a must.
