Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for accuracy and organisation? We are looking for a Payables Finance Executive to join our Finance Department and play a key role in managing supplier payments, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and supporting the financial success of our hotel.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll be part of a dynamic team where your work will have a direct impact on the smooth running of the business.

What You Will Be Doing

As our Payables Finance Executive, you will:

Prepare creditor payment reports and process payment runs (electronic transfers, cheques, direct debits, standing orders, and other payment methods) in line with approval procedures, payment terms, and cash flow requirements.
Prepare and distribute remittance advice to suppliers.
Maintain accurate accounts payable records and ensure correct allocation of all creditor transactions.
Produce bi-weekly creditor reports for Management, ensuring all purchase invoices are recorded and highlighting cash flow and expenditure trends.
Reconcile supplier statements, investigate discrepancies, and follow through until outstanding issues are resolved.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and audit preparation.
Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment queries while maintaining positive business relationships.
Support the Financial Controller with reporting, projects, and other finance-related tasks as required.
Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and controls.
Carry out any other duties appropriate to the role.

Experience & Qualifications

2–5 years' experience in Accounts Payable or Finance, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Experience using accounting or hotel finance systems.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
