Your profile: An experienced backend engineer with strong Node.js expertise, architectural thinking, and a passion for building scalable, reliable systems.

Your goal: Continuously evolve and strengthen our backend platform by delivering secure, high-quality solutions that support both current products and future growth.

Your role: Design, develop, and maintain core backend services while collaborating across teams to solve complex technical challenges, improve platform architecture, and support new games, integrations, and internal tools.

🧑‍💻 WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Node.js and JavaScript
Contributing to the long-term architecture and continuous evolution of our platform
Working on complex backend systems that have evolved over multiple years and technologies
Supporting the integration of new games, game types, and platform features
Improving platform performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability
Solving security challenges and helping ensure a secure platform
Performing code reviews and mentoring other developers through constructive feedback
Collaborating closely with game developers, frontend developers, DevOps, QA, Product, Support, Finance, and other teams
Supporting internal stakeholders by developing tools, features, and platform improvements
Troubleshooting production issues and contributing to bug fixing and platform stability
Evaluating and adopting modern engineering practices, including AI-powered development tools where they add value

👀 WHAT KIND OF CHALLENGES WILL YOU SOLVE:

Platform renewal and long-term platform evolution
Supporting new game mechanics and future game types
Solving security-related challenges
Building features requested by customers and partners
Supporting new integration types for new clients
Designing and developing internal tools and improving existing ones for departments such as Support, Finance
Maintaining a stable, high-performing platform while continuously modernising its architecture

🎯 ARE WE A MATCH?

At least 5 years of relevant backend development experience
Strong experience with Node.js and JavaScript
Experience designing scalable backend architectures and distributed systems
Solid understanding of backend application design and software architecture
Experience working with mature production systems and large codebases
Good knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
Experience with code reviews, technical mentoring, and knowledge sharing
Understanding of security best practices for backend systems
