The Role

Manage the full recruitment cycle, including drafting job descriptions and person specifications, advertising vacancies, screening applications, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and supporting the selection process.
Work closely with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future staffing needs.
Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes to ensure a positive and engaging employee experience.
Identify training and development needs in collaboration with departmental managers.
Plan, coordinate, and administer internal and external training programmes across the Group.
Deliver employee training sessions and induction programmes as required.
Monitor training attendance, effectiveness, and employee development progress.
Research and apply for training grants and EU-funded employee development schemes.
Maintain accurate recruitment, training, and employee records within the HR system.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices throughout the recruitment and training processes.
Promote a culture of continuous learning, employee development, diversity, and inclusion.
Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Actively participate in team meetings and drive HR initiatives to successful completion.
Assist the Head of HR with HR projects and other duties as required.

Requirements

A qualification in a related field will be considered an asset.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in recruitment, or a general HR role.
Strong understanding of recruitment methodologies and interview techniques.
Experience in coordinating and delivering training programmes would be considered an asset.
Knowledge of local employment legislation is beneficial.
Excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English.
Strong organisational and planning skills with attention to detail.
People-oriented, proactive, and results-driven.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
