Java Backend Developer – Hybrid in Malta

This is a Software Developer opportunity in a fast-growing tech company where your backend expertise will directly shape the user experience. In this role, you’ll work on high-volume systems and take ownership of building features from the ground up.

You’ll be joining a well-established engineering team dedicated to delivering real-time, high-availability platforms using modern technologies. You will:

Design and build APIs and microservices in Java
Explore and evaluate emerging technologies
Engage with stakeholders to keep development on track

Skills / Experience:

3+ years’ experience in backend development using Java in SpringBoot
Ideally experience in databases
Exposure to cloud platforms will be considered a plus

Salary / Remuneration: Up to €50,000 + Bonus, Hybrid Working Setup, Health Insurance
