Location: St Julian's, Malta (Hybrid - up to 3 days from home per week)

Contract: 12-Month Definite Contract (Maternity Cover, with potential to extend)

The Mission

At ComeOn Group, data isn't just numbers on a screen—it's the fuel behind how we innovate, optimize player experiences, and shape the digital entertainment space.

We are looking for a sharp, proactive Data Analyst to join our Analytics & BI crew in Malta on a 12-month maternity cover. Functioning as an agile hybrid between a Business Intelligence analyst and a strategic storyteller, you will dive into our data pipelines, query raw datasets using SQL, maintain our Tableau ecosystem, and translate complex numbers into compelling narratives for Product Owners and C-level leaders.

What You'll Do

Dive Deep with SQL: Run ad-hoc queries, interrogate large transactional databases, and extract clean datasets to answer critical business questions
Shape BI & Dashboards: Maintain, refine, and build intuitive front-end reports in Tableau, providing constructive analytical feedback on dashboard usability and structure
Tell the Story Behind the Data: Translate complex trends, customer behaviour metrics, and profitability drivers into clear presentations and actionable recommendations for senior leadership and product squads
Validate & Innovate: Sense-check reporting structures, perform data reconciliations, and validate outputs from emerging internal AI analytical tools
Support Commercial Decision-Making: Analyze customer lifetime value, campaign ROI, and operational KPIs to directly guide product decisions

Who You Are

Hands-on with SQL & BI Tools:Confident running queries in SQL independently and experienced with business intelligence visualization tools (Tableau strongly preferred; Advanced Excel is a given)
Analytical Background: Proven background in data analytics, consulting, or audit—ideally you bring more than 3 years of hands-on experience
Strong Communicator:Outstanding presentation skills with an ability to tailor insights and data narratives effectively for both technical peers and executive audiences
Run Together: You thrive in an open, cross-functional environment where knowledge sharing, mutual support, and team synergy come first
Show the Way: You challenge old assumptions, spot inefficiencies in reporting models, and bring fresh analytical perspectives rather than settling for standard templates
Make It Happen:You are pragmatic, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership from day one to deliver fast, dependable insights
Work Eligibility: Due to the immediate start required for this maternity cover, we cannot support visa sponsorship or relocation processing for this vacancy

Life at ComeOn

True Hybrid Flexibility: Flexible split between home and our Spinola office, plus up to 40 days a year to work remotely from anywhere worldwide. 🌍
Competitive Package: Attractive salary plus eligibility for our company bonus scheme and a one-time workstation setup allowance. 💰
Health & Well-being: Comprehensive international private health insurance and an annual wellbeing allowance. 🧘
Office Perks & Social Life: Fresh catered lunches at the office, our very own barista station, drinks & nibbles, and regular team celebrations.🍕
Culture of Growth: Innovative, engaging and professional environment, modern tech stack, and a vibrant community of ComeOn-ers representing 40+ nationalities in 6 countries 😎
