St. Edward’s College is seeking to employ a full-time Pastoral Care and Boarding Coordinator for the scholastic year 2026 / 2027. The Pastoral Care and Boarding Coordinator is responsible for continuing to promote a safe, respectful and inclusive school environment where every student can thrive academically, socially and emotionally. The role provides strategic leadership in student wellbeing, behaviour management, safeguarding and pastoral care whilst overseeing the day-to-day operation and development of the College Boarding House.

The successful candidate works collaboratively with all the key stakeholders at College to ensure a consistent and student-centred approach to care, behaviour and personal development.

We are looking for an individual who:

Has experience in a school environment. Experience in Boarding schools is considered an asset.
Has experience in pastoral care and/or behaviour management.
Can work collaboratively with Senior Leadership, Bursar, teachers, Learning Support Educators, parents and external agencies.
Can manage sensitive student issues confidentially and professionally.
Can develop or implement student wellbeing, attendance or behaviour initiatives.
Is motivated and shows initiative to develop this position to its fullest potential.

Education and experience:

A recognised Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Youth and Community Studies, Social Work, or another relevant discipline.
Safeguarding / child protection training would be an asset.
