Job Description

Xara Collection is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house operations and uphold our high standards of service excellence.

TheRole

As Restaurant Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service, outstanding guest experiences, and strong team performance. You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for quality while supporting the commercial success of the restaurant, including private events and functions.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team
Promote sale s through menu knowledge, upselling and beverage pairing
Manage reservations, table allocation, and service flow
Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally
Coordinate and oversee private events, functions, and special occasions
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and allergen regulations
Monitor financial performance, staffing levels, and operational costs
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications

3-5 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within a high-end or fine dining environment
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and strong organisational skills with the ability to manage busy service periods and changing operational priorities
In-depth knowledge of food & beverage operations and guest service
Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management (ITS Diploma or equivalent preferred)
Valid Food Handler Licence (as per Maltese regulations)
