In view of the increase in business activity together with the continued search of skilled professionals we require a Services Engineer. Reporting to the Lead Services Engineer / Project Manager the selected candidate will provide designs, installs, and manages essential environmental systems, such as HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and safety systems to ensure buildings are comfortable, safe, energy-efficient, and functional.

Duties

Prepare and produce coordinated services (M&E) drawings for a medium‑scale building project, integrating HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection and specialist services.

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and subcontractors to resolve clashes, routing, and spatial conflicts.

Develop and maintain a services coordination model/drawings (2D CAD) and issue regular revisions.

Produce clash reports, coordination markups, and drawing schedules; propose practical routing and access solutions.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, statutory requirements and relevant standards.

Attend coordination meetings, site surveys and design review sessions; record actions and follow up on outstanding items.

Support preparation of installation/handover documentation and as-built drawings.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Building Services.

3+ years’ experience producing services coordination drawings on building projects considered an asset.

Proficient in AutoCAD software and coordination tools.

Good technical knowledge of services systems, standards and installation practices.

Strong communication, problem-solving and team coordination skills
