Machine Operator

Under the guidance of the Lead Production Operator, the Production Operator will ensure that the production requirements of the shift are met efficiently, safely, and sustainably and within acceptable quality standards.

Key Responsibilities  Perform 5S and other housekeeping duties required for a safe and clean working environment.  Follow the production plan, quality, and operation procedures effectively.  Ensure that material is correct for Shift.  Ensure machines are clean.  Operate moulding machines according to specifications.  Troubleshoot, maintain and make minor repairs to equipment.  Sort product and separate runners.  Monitor quality of material and product produced and adjust machine settings as required.  Assist the rest of the team in any difficulties.
