Are you organised, personable, and passionate about helping people? Mgarr Pharmacy is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our close-knit team. Full-time is preferred, but we would consider part-time for the right candidate.

Working alongside our pharmacist, you will play an important role in keeping our pharmacy running smoothly and ensuring every patient receives a warm, professional service.

Key Responsibilities

Dispensing Support: Assisting the pharmacist with the accurate preparation and dispensing of medicines.
Customer Care: Assisting patients in a professional, caring, and empathetic manner.
Stock & Merchandising: Monitoring inventory, ordering stock, and keeping displays attractive and well organised.
Retail Operations: Handling cash transactions, operating the POS system, and ensuring accurate pricing.
Product Expertise: Staying up to date on healthcare products and promotions to give patients the best advice.
Pharmacy Upkeep: Helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and colleagues alike.

Requirements

Qualification: A recognised pharmacy technician/assistant qualification is preferred, though we are happy to train the right candidate.
Languages: Excellent written and verbal communication in both Maltese and English.
Tech Savvy: Strong computer literacy and keyboarding skills.
Personality: A pleasant, "people-oriented" personality with a genuine desire to help others.
Work Ethic: Highly organised, attentive to detail, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset, but not essential.
