Our client, a well-established hospitality and catering group in Malta, is seeking skilled and passionate Chefs de Partie to join its culinary team. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing a specific kitchen section, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee a specific section of the kitchen.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards.
Ensure proper mise en place and organisation of the workstation.
Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
Assist in supervising and training junior kitchen staff.
Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage and stock rotation.
Follow HACCP and food safety regulations at all times.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
Passion for cooking and delivering high-quality dishes.
Fluency in English; additional languages will be considered an asset.
