About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper / Cleaner to help maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene of our retail outlets. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our customers and ensuring our team operates in a clean, safe, and well-maintained workplace.

The successful candidate will take pride in their work, have a strong eye for detail, and be committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout our retail outlets.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise dining, food preparation, back-of-house, and restroom areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean floors as required.
Empty rubbish and recycling bins and dispose of waste correctly.
Clean and sanitise equipment, shelving, storage areas, and fixtures.
Restock the restroom and cleaning supplies, and advise management when stock is low.
Complete scheduled deep-cleaning tasks.
Report hazards, maintenance issues, and equipment faults.
Follow food hygiene, chemical handling, and workplace safety procedures.
Assist with general housekeeping to support café operations.

Skills & Experience

Cleaning or hospitality experience preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
Reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
Good time management and ability to work efficiently during busy periods.
Understanding of safe cleaning and chemical handling practices.
Positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
