LaboPharm Ltd is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team in. This role requires a proactive and skilled professional who can provide exceptional service and support to our clients in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Installation and Maintenance: Execute the installation, calibration, and maintenance of pharmaceutical equipment and systems at client locations, ensuring adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime for clients and providing effective solutions to complex problems.
Customer Training: Conduct training sessions for clients and their staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment, fostering confidence and competence.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, including installation reports, maintenance logs, and customer feedback to ensure transparency and accountability.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and engineering, to provide insights on customer needs and contribute to product improvements.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while performing field service duties.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance personal skills and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Skills and Qualifications

Educational Background: A diploma or degree in engineering, technical field, or a related discipline is preferred.
Experience: Experience in a field service role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or laboratory equipment industry.
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment and systems, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues methodically and efficiently.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Customer-Oriented: A proactive approach to customer service with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Flexibility: Willingness to work in laboratories under strict GLP / GMP procedures.
