This is an excellent opportunity to develop a specialist finance practice, working on high-quality client matters and learning directly from a senior partner in an open-door, hands-on mentoring environment.

General Responsibilities include:

Banking and finance transactions, including lender and borrower-side work.
Corporate, project and asset finance matters.
Security arrangements, financing documentation and legal opinions.
Due diligence, refinancing, transaction support and client advice.
Liaising with clients, financial institutions and other advisers.
Monitoring Maltese and EU legal and regulatory developments relevant to finance.

Requirements of the ideal candidate:

A strong interest in banking and finance.
Grounding in Corporate and Civil Law.
Excellent legal research, drafting and analytical skills.
Commercial awareness and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
Strong written and spoken English.
A proactive attitude and willingness to work closely within a team.
