The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a positive and memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will be welcoming, organised, and customer-focused, ensuring that every guest receives excellent service from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and greet guests in a warm and professional manner.
Manage reservations and maintain an organised booking system.
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
Coordinate seating arrangements to maximise guest satisfaction and restaurant efficiency.
Handle guest enquiries and provide information about the restaurant and its services.
Manage waiting lists and communicate estimated waiting times when necessary.
Liaise closely with the restaurant management and service team to ensure smooth operations.
Answer telephone calls and manage reservation requests efficiently.
Ensure the reception and waiting areas are always clean, organised, and welcoming.
Address guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
Support the team in delivering exceptional customer service standards.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or in a customer-facing hospitality role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian or additional languages will be considered an asset.
Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
