Our client, a leading public transport operator in Malta, is looking to recruit a Sales Agent to join its customer-facing team in Luqa. The role covers the day-to-day sale of fares, travel cards and top-ups to passengers, and delivering a consistently positive experience at the point of sale.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain up-to-date product and service knowledge and sell fares and top-ups.
Promote and upsell specific products and services according to company objectives.
Handle cash, top-ups, and travel card sales accurately.
Complete end-of-shift reconciliation and maintain stock levels.
Respond to customer queries in a professional and helpful manner.
Deliver a positive customer experience and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

Ordinary level (O-Level) standard in Mathematics.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Friendly and sociable personality with a customer-focused approach.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Self-motivated and target-oriented.
Comfortable handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
Previous sales, retail, or customer service experience is considered an advantage but is not required.
Knowledge of Maltese is considered an advantage.
