Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records;
Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documentation;
Perform regular bank and account reconciliations;
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including following up on outstanding payments;
Assist with payroll preparation and employee expense reimbursements;
Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and account summaries;
Carry out month-end and year-end closing activities;
Maintain organised accounting documentation for audit and compliance purposes;
Support audit activities, tax filings, and financial analysis;
Ensure accounting activities are carried out in accordance with client policies and established procedures;
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments regarding accounting and financial matters;
Review work completed by junior associates and provide guidance, training, and feedback;
Support the mentoring and development of junior team members;
Assist Managers, Directors, and Partners with financial analysis, reporting, and special projects;
Provide support on additional accounting assignments and related projects as required.

Experience

Must be a qualified accountant with an MQF Level 7 qualification or equivalent;
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar accounting position is required;
Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of Maltese will be considered an asset.

Personal Skills

Salary: €35,000-55,000 per year
