DoubleTree by Hilton Malta is looking for a passionate and skilled Part-Time Demi Chef de Partie / Chef de Partie to join the team at SABI Restaurant.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated chef with strong à la carte experience to become part of a dynamic kitchen, focused on delivering exceptional dining experiences. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and service.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, pastry, sauces), ensuring smooth operations and high-quality dish preparation
Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to restaurant standards, maintaining quality and consistency
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring timely ordering and proper storage
Manage and train junior kitchen staff within your designated section, providing guidance on techniques and best practices
Maintain cleanliness and organization within your section, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations
Assist in the preparation and production of large-scale events or catering services when required
Supervise food preparation during peak hours, ensuring efficient timing and minimizing waste
Handle any guest feedback related to your section, making necessary adjustments to improve customer satisfaction
Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie, Chef de Partie, or in a similar role within an a la carte environment
In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, cooking techniques, and various cuisines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
