Our client, a well established yet growing provider within the iGaming field, is looking for a German speaking Head of Affilaites to join their team in Malta.

The Head of Affiliates is responsible for driving scalable growth through the development and execution of the company's affiliate marketing strategy. This role focuses on building, managing, and optimising a high-performing affiliate network, leveraging data-driven insights to maximise revenue, and fostering strong partnerships across key mark ets.

Responsibilities

Develop and own the company's global affiliate strategy aligned with overall acquisition and growth objectives.
Identify and onboard high-value affiliate partners, networks, and traffic sources
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging affiliate opportunities, integrating insights into strategy and execution.
Oversee the day-to-day management of affiliate programs across multiple brands and territories.
Ensure effective tracking, attribution, and optimisation of affiliate campaigns.
Constinuosly test and optimise commision models, creatives, and landing pages to maximise performance.
Build, manage and grow strong relationships with key afiliates, networks, and strategic partners.
Negotiate commercial agreements, commission structures, and excusive deals.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Own and manage the affiliate marketing budget, ensuring strong ROI cost efficiency.
Monitor, analyse, and report on affiliate performane metrics, identifying opportunitieis for growth and optimisation.
Ensure compliance with financial targets and forecast future performance.
Lead, mentor and develop the affiliates team to achieve growth and performance targets.
Foster a high-performance, results-drive and collaborative team culture.
Work closely with acquisition, CRM, product and compliance teams to align affiliate activities with broader business goals.
Collaborate with creative and content teams to ensure high-performing marketing assets.
KPI ownership: Affiliate revenuw and growth, CPA, ROMI, Affiliate contribution to FTDs/Registrations, partner retention and activation rates.

Requirements

Bachelors' degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, Economics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in affiliate marketing or performance marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to build and scale affiliate programs.
Deep understanding of affiliate marketing models, platforms, and tracking technologies.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Proven experience in partner management and commerical negotiations.
Leadership and team management skills with the ability to develop high performing teams.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Budget management, forecasting, and financial planning skills.
Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills.
Bilingual or native level of German language as well as proficiency in English.
Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory considerations in affiliate marketing.
