The Marketing & Events Executive is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives and events that promote prominent waterfront and cruise port locations as leading destinations for cruise tourism, leisure, dining, retail, and cultural experiences. The role contributes to enhancing brand visibility, increasing visitor engagement, and supporting commercial objectives through integrated marketing campaigns and high-quality event delivery.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of annual marketing strategies and campaigns.
Coordinate digital marketing activities across different channels including websites, social media platforms, email marketing, and online advertising.
Develop engaging content, including copywriting, photography, and video coordination, for marketing channels.
Maintain brand consistency across all communications and promotional materials.
Coordinate the production of brochures, signage, advertisements, and other marketing collateral with designers, printers, and suppliers.
Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports using website analytics, social media insights, and other performance metrics.
Support public relations initiatives by liaising with media representatives, influencers, and external agencies.
Assist in maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders and business partners.

Events:

Plan, organize, and coordinate hosted events, including festivals, seasonal events, corporate functions, cruise-related activities, and promotional campaigns.
Coordinate event logistics, including planning, promotion, venue setup, suppliers, permits, health and safety requirements, entertainment, and technical services.
Liaise with internal departments, tenants, sponsors, contractors, government entities, and external stakeholders.
Manage event budgets, quotations, purchase orders, and post-event reconciliations.
Attend events to manage and oversee operations and ensure smooth execution.
Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare reports with recommendations for future improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, Tourism, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in marketing, event management, hospitality, tourism, or a related industry.
Experience in digital marketing and social media management.
Experience coordinating public events and working with multiple stakeholders.
