Job Description
Our client is a leading financial institution who are looking to strengthen their IT Support team and bring in a Technical Support Engineer to provide Level 1 support
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily Core Business Systems and infrastructure operations, ensuring hardware, software, and business applications run smoothly.
- Provide timely IT support for desktop/laptop systems, assist with helpdesk analysis, and deliver on-site support to remote locations.
- Administer key systems including PABX, network services, user accounts, and access rights.
- Support Data Centre operations and carry out backups, restores, and other disaster recovery tasks.
- Conduct routine checks on networks, hardware, and software, maintaining accurate operational records.
- Share technical knowledge, support data requests, educate end users, and maintain strong collaboration within the IT team.
Requirements
- Familiar with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365
- Be familiar with database reporting and SQL
- A team player
- A basic understanding of the IT sector is highly desirable
- Any IT Support experience is highly desirable
Education and Experience
- MCAST or University Degree in an IT Field
