Our client, a corporate services provider is seeking to recruit an Accounting Officer to join the accounting team. Candidates need to have a keen interest interest and basic understanding of Accounting, Corporate and Banking matters.

Duties include:

Client bookkeeping and general accounting services
Liaising with clients and handling various requests in a timely manner
Assisting in the preparation of management accounts or accountancy files for audit
Supporting the Accounting Team with various day-to-day administrative tasks
Assisting with the ongoing administration of the bank accounts including liaising with the banks and clients on transactions
Managing and preparing the necessary documentation to comply with statutory, legal, corporate, secretarial,and administrative procedures
Organizing physical and digital files, ensuring easy retrieval of documents when needed
Undertaking other duties from time to time as may be agreed with the Head of Accounting / Directors.

Requirements

Should be in the initial stages of ACCA or in possession of a diploma level of education in a field related with the financial services industry.
One-year work experience within a financial services environment
Able to work in a team
Be proactive, reliable and highly organised.
Excellent communications skills in English
