Our client, operating within the Development, Real Estate and Construction industry, a family run business, is looking to expand their team and is currently seeking Accountants to join their growing Accounting function.

They are looking for both Senior Accountants and Junior Accountants with some administrative responsibilities, with the aim of continuing to grow the Accounting team internally.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Accounting:

Handling posting of invoices, receipts and payments
Handling bank, supplier and customer reconciliations
Handling payables and receivables
Handling VAT returns
Supporting with checking of payroll function
Supporting with the full cycle up to management accounts

Administration duties for junior candidates:

Supporting with meeting agendas
Handling documentation and appointments
Managing client accounts balances
Supporting with day to day duties

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of experience working locally in a similar role in Accounting
Excellent verbal and written English and Maltese
Proactive and independent individual

Education and Experience

Ideally actively studying ACCA or equivalent
