The company is looking to recruit a qualified and motivated Architect to join its team. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading architectural projects from concept stage through to completion, ensuring that all designs meet project objectives, client expectations, regulatory requirements, and company standards.

This role requires a strong balance of design capability, technical knowledge, project coordination, and commercial awareness. The Architect will work closely with clients, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-quality, functional, and sustainable architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead architectural projects from initial concept development through to final delivery

Liaise with clients, suppliers, consultants, and stakeholders to identify and define project requirements

Prepare and present design concepts, layouts, and project proposals in line with client briefs and company objectives

Produce detailed drawings, specifications, technical documentation, and construction packages

Review, refine, and adapt designs in response to project developments while maintaining design quality, functionality, and cost efficiency

Carry out research and prepare feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, and sustainability-related reports where required

Ensure all designs comply with local planning policies, building regulations, health and safety standards, and other applicable legal requirements

Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to support effective project execution

Coordinate with engineers, project teams, contractors, and other construction professionals to ensure smooth delivery across all project stages

Keep up to date with industry trends, materials, technologies, and innovative design approaches

Incorporate sustainable design principles, energy-efficient systems, and environmentally responsible materials into project solutions

Support environmental and landscape considerations, including biodiversity enhancement and water conservation measures where applicable

Requirements

Degree or master's qualification in Architecture

Proven experience in architectural design and project management

Strong understanding of local planning requirements, building regulations, and construction standards

Sound knowledge of sustainable design principles and environmentally responsible building practices

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Strong creative thinking, technical ability, and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively to deadlines

Proficiency in architectural design software, including CAD, BIM, or similar platforms

Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Maltese will be considered an asset
