Lift Installer Assistant

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Lift Installer Assistant to support our technical team in the installation of lifts and elevator systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

The successful candidate will assist experienced lift installers with mechanical and electrical installation work, handling equipment, preparing tools and materials, and ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lift installers in the installation of lifts, elevator components, and related equipment.
• Support the assembly and fitting of lift guide rails, doors, cabins, motors, and other mechanical components.
• Assist with basic electrical and mechanical installation tasks under supervision.
• Transport, load, unload, and organise tools, materials, and equipment at installation sites.
• Prepare installation areas and ensure that all necessary tools and materials are available.
• Follow technical instructions and guidance provided by senior installers and supervisors.
• Assist with testing, adjustments, and final installation checks under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report any equipment defects, safety hazards, or installation issues to the supervisor.
• Perform other installation-related duties as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction, mechanical installation, or a similar technical field will be considered an asset.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work.
• Ability to work at heights while following appropriate safety procedures.
• Willingness to learn lift installation techniques and develop technical skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible attitude.
• Good awareness of workplace health and safety.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• A valid driving licence will be considered an asset.
