We are currently looking for a Pharmaceutical Procurement Officer to join our team!

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end supply chain process for pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, and related services.
Act as the subject matter expert for pharmaceutical procurement, supplier management, and regulatory compliance.
Lead and oversee key procurement and supply chain activities, including supplier prequalification, demand planning, forecasting, quality assurance, cold chain management, distribution, and pharmacovigilance.
Manage supplier selection, evaluation, and contract negotiations, including supply agreements, renewals, and cost-saving initiatives.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with international and regional suppliers, conducting regular business reviews to identify service improvements and cost reduction opportunities.
Ensure Essential Drug Lists and approved item updates are effectively communicated to suppliers.
Coordinate procurement-related administration, including purchase orders, supplier invoices, stock system entries, and liaison with the Finance department regarding payments and reconciliations.
Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of company policies, procedures, and operational processes.
Act in accordance with and follow all company policies, procedures and work instructions, especially with regard to Data Security.
Promote and proactively raise HSE awareness and environmental awareness.
Any other duties, commensurate with the staff member’s skill, competencies, qualifications and experience that the company may require from time.

Skills and Competencies

Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products, procurement practices, and relevant regulations.
Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
High level of attention to detail, accountability, and ownership.
