Due to our expanding operations, we are looking for a motivated and clinically knowledgeable Sales and Application Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines a background in clinical or healthcare practice with a strong interest in medical technology, customer engagement and business development. The successful candidate will play a key role in introducing our products to healthcare professionals, supporting their clinical application and helping establish long-term relationships with hospitals, clinics and other healthcare institutions.

The Sales and Application Specialist will act as a key link between the company, healthcare professionals and our international medical device partners. The role will combine sales, clinical application support, product demonstrations and training, with a strong focus on ensuring healthcare professionals understand the appropriate and effective use of our products.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with hospitals, clinics, healthcare professionals and other relevant stakeholders.

Identify new business opportunities and support the growth of the company's portfolio.
Promote and present products to healthcare professionals, decision-makers and Procurement teams.
Conduct regular customer visits and follow up on sales opportunities.
Support tender and procurement processes where required.
Achieve agreed sales and business development objectives.
Monitor market developments, competitor activity and customer needs and provide feedback to management.
Clinical and Application Support

Develop a strong understanding of the company's portfolio and its clinical applications.

Provide hands-on product demonstrations and application support to healthcare professionals.
Assist customers with the application, implementation and appropriate use of products.
Provide on-site support during product introduction, procedures, demonstrations or training sessions where required.
Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for customers regarding product functionality and clinical applications.
Conduct basic troubleshooting and escalate issues to the Service and Maintenance team.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant clinical practices, technologies and developments within the assigned product area.
Customer and Supplier Relationships

Build trusted, long-term relationships with clinicians, nurses, healthcare professionals, procurement teams and other stakeholders.

Work closely with suppliers to remain informed about new products, product updates and training requirements.
Attend relevant conferences, exhibitions, workshops and training programmes both locally and overseas.
Internal Collaboration

Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory and Service and Maintenance teams to ensure a high level of customer support.

Assist in the preparation of product presentations, sales materials and training resources.
Communicate market insights to management.
Maintain accurate customer, sales and activity records.
Provide regular reports on sales activities, opportunities, customer feedback and market developments.

Requirements

A degree in a clinical, healthcare, biomedical, scientific or engineering-related field.
Previous experience working within sales environments as well as clinical or healthcare environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commercially minded with a willingness to learn.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
A clean and valid local driver’s licence.
Availability to travel overseas.
Confidence communicating with healthcare professionals at different levels.
Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
