Salary Package: €40,000 to €55,000 depending on experience

Role Overview

This role provides an ambitious Lawyer with the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic legal team, handling diverse cases in both Litigation and Arbitration. The position provides a stimulating environment that nurtures professional development and allows engagement with a wide array of complex legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

Case Management: Oversee a diverse caseload, managing matters from initial client consultation through to final resolution.
Legal Research and Analysis: Perform comprehensive research and evaluate legal issues to provide strategic advice and formulate effective approaches in litigation and arbitration matters.
Drafting and Advocacy: Prepare compelling legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, and represent clients during court proceedings.
Client Communication: Maintain consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and addressing inquiries promptly.
Collaboration: Coordinate closely with colleagues within the litigation team and across other practice areas to deliver integrated legal solutions.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

Education: Degree in Law and in possession of a warrant to practice law in Malta.
Experience: Minimum of two years post-qualification experience in litigation.
Language Skills: Full proficiency in written and spoken Maltese and English is required.
Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates effective teamwork and relationship-building skills across internal and client-facing interactions.
Technical Skills: Strong competency in litigation, arbitration, and legal research techniques.
Organisation: Exceptional ability to manage multiple cases and priorities efficiently.
Self-Motivated: Proactive, driven, and eager to develop professional expertise.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the capacity to identify key legal issues and implement effective solutions.
