Responsibilities

You will work remotely from Colombia in close coordination with our Malta-based Audit Managers, who will be the primary points of contact for the audit engagements assigned to you.

Your responsibilities will include:

Coordinate audit engagements from the planning stage through to completion, ensuring assignments are delivered within agreed deadlines and in accordance with the firm's quality standards.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process.
Liaise proactively with client management to obtain information, resolve audit queries, and identify opportunities for process and business improvements.
Coordinate work effectively with junior team members, review their work, and provide on-the-job coaching, guidance and constructive feedback to support their professional development.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
Apply International Standards on Auditing (ISA) throughout audit engagements.
Identify and communicate audit findings and matters requiring further consideration.
Work closely with our Malta-based Managers to ensure the successful and timely delivery of audit engagements.
Maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality and quality throughout all assignments.

Requirements

Qualified with ACCA, ACA or CPA, holds a recognised university Master's degree in Accounting, or is in the final stages of completing ACCA.
A minimum of two years' experience within an audit firm.
Currently based in Bogotá, Colombia.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Sound knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
Ability to identify, assess and communicate audit findings and other sensitive matters professionally.
Proven ability to manage multiple audit engagements and work effectively within a collaborative, international team environment.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines and deliver high-quality work remotely.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build and maintain professional client relationships.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a Malta-based team in a remote working environment.
