We are looking for a skilled and versatile Media Production Technician (Video and Editing) to support all stages of media production, including video capture, editing, live production, and general technical tasks. Working closely with creative and technical teams, this is a hands-on role focused on delivering high-quality content across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and record high-quality video content aligned with the creative vision.

  • Assist in pre-production planning, including storyboards, shot lists, and technical setup.

  • Direct and coordinate video feeds for live broadcasts and conferences, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality visual output while collaborating with technical crews on-site.

  • Set up and manage livestream productions and studio environments.

  • Shoot, edit, and deliver polished video content, ensuring consistency in quality, style, and storytelling.

  • Manage and organise media assets throughout the production workflow.

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize video and audio equipment.

Requirements

  • Portfolio: Must have a portfolio demonstrating videography, editing, and post-production skills.

  • Experience: 2–5 years in video production and post-production.

  • Knowledge of lighting and audio equipment (microphones, recorders, etc.).

  • Experience setting up and managing livestreams.

  • Motion graphics experience.

  • Photography skills are a plus.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our team, you’ll be involved in every stage of a project.

  • Plan the perfect shot: You’ll help prepare for shoots by creating storyboards and shot lists and getting all the gear ready – from cameras and lights to sound equipment.

  • Bring stories to life: From corporate videos to live events, you’ll be behind the camera, capturing high-quality content and editing it, working closely with the team.

  • Polish in post: You’ll take raw footage and make it shine using industry-standard software like Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. This includes everything from colour correction and audio mixing to adding titles and effects.

  • Run the show: For live broadcasts and conferences, you’ll be setting up a seamless kit.

  • Keep things running smoothly: You’ll be the go-to person for all our gear, handling maintenance and troubleshooting to make sure everything works perfectly, every time. You’ll also stay on top of the latest production technology to recommend improvements.

Who You Are

  • You’re a versatile and skilled professional who’s comfortable in any production environment.

  • Can handle client projects directly and interpret briefs to deliver compelling visual stories.

  • A master of both the technical and creative side of media production.

  • Skilled with a camera and experienced with editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.

  • Just as comfortable working on your own as you are with a team.

  • Calm under pressure and a pro at solving problems on the fly.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented – you never miss a beat.

  • Can understand Maltese and speak English fluently.

  • You hold a valid driver’s license.

What We Offer

  • A supportive and creative team that feels more like a collaboration.

  • Access to top-notch studio equipment and software.

  • Plenty of opportunities to grow your skills and take on new challenges.

  • Exciting and diverse projects – no two days are ever the same.
