Electrician Helper

The Electrician Helper assists qualified electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.

• Site Preparation: Gather tools, load/unload equipment, and set up ladders, scaffolding, or safety cones.
• Cable & Conduit Installation: Pull electrical cables through walls, conduits, or trays, and assist in bending and mounting conduit pipes.
• Physical Groundwork: Drill holes, cut channels into concrete or drywall (trenching), and clear debris from work areas.
• Basic Assembly: Mount junction boxes, pull switches, fix light fixtures, and install low-voltage sockets under supervision.
• Tool & Inventory Management: Maintain and clean hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment, keeping track of small parts like screws, connectors, and tape.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to on-site health and safety rules, utilizing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like steel-toe boots, high-vis vests, and safety glasses.
