About the Role

One of our clients is seeking a Store Assistant / Driver to join their team in Qormi.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining driving and delivery duties with general store support. The successful candidate will travel to different locations across Malta, assist with deliveries and collections, and help keep the store and work areas clean and organised.

Training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Main Duties

The role will include:

Delivering, collecting and gathering samples from different locations across Malta
Driving team members to and from various work sites
Loading, unloading and transporting light to moderately heavy items
Following instructions and using GPS or navigation systems to reach different locations
Ensuring items and samples are handled and transported safely
Assisting with deliveries and with receiving, moving and organising materials within the store
Providing general support to the stores and production team when required
Carrying out general cleaning duties, including sweeping and cleaning shelves, glass furniture, windows and other surfaces
Helping to keep equipment and work areas clean, tidy and organised
Carrying out other duties as required to support the team

Requirements

Applicants should:

Be a Registered Disabled Person (RDP) and have a valid RDP number
Hold a valid Category B driving licence
Be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
Have basic communication skills in Maltese and English
Have basic reading and writing skills
Be able to follow instructions and use GPS/navigation systems
Have the physical ability and stamina required for a role that may involve lifting
Be willing to carry out a variety of driving, store support and cleaning duties

Training will be provided to the successful candidate.
