Trainee Inspector

We are seeking a Trainee Inspector on a full-time basis to assist with cargo inspection and sampling activities involving petroleum, petrochemical and other products while receiving practical field training.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with cargo inspection and sampling activities.
• Learn cargo measurement, sampling, calculations and reporting procedures.
• Communicate with the Operations Coordinator and report abnormalities.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and confidentiality standards.

Requirements

• No previous petroleum inspection experience is required.
• Previous sampling, seafaring, terminal, industrial or marine experience is an asset.
• Willingness to undergo practical field training.
• Good command of English and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Mathematics and basic Physics.
• Ability to prepare accurate reports and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and in challenging conditions.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends and offshore shifts.
• Valid, clean Category B manual driving licence.
