An established international company operating within the online gaming industry is looking for an experienced German Affiliate Marketing Lead to drive the growth of its affiliate acquisition strategy across German-speaking markets.

This position is ideal for someone with strong affiliate marketing expertise, a commercial mindset, and proven experience building long-term partnerships within the iGaming sector. You will be responsible for developing affiliate strategies, managing key partners, analysing performance, and leading initiatives that increase customer acquisition and revenue.

Responsibilities

Design and execute the affiliate marketing strategy to support business growth across German-speaking markets.
Identify, recruit and manage high-quality affiliate partners and strategic traffic sources.
Build strong relationships with existing affiliates while expanding the overall partner network.
Negotiate commercial agreements, commission structures and exclusive partnership opportunities.
Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimise affiliate activity to maximise ROI.
Analyse data, market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.
Work closely with CRM, Acquisition, Product, Creative and Compliance teams to align marketing initiatives.
Ensure accurate campaign tracking, reporting and attribution across affiliate channels.
Manage affiliate budgets and monitor overall performance against business objectives.
Prepare regular reports and forecasts using key performance metrics.
Provide guidance and support to the affiliate function while promoting a collaborative and results-focused culture.
Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events and affiliate meetings when required.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years' experience in Affiliate or Performance Marketing, ideally within the iGaming industry.
Previous experience working with German-speaking markets, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
At least 2 years of leadership or senior-level responsibility within an affiliate environment.
Strong understanding of affiliate platforms, tracking systems and performance marketing models.
Proven ability to negotiate commercial agreements and develop successful partnerships.
Highly analytical with experience interpreting campaign performance and commercial data.
Experience managing budgets, forecasting performance and delivering against revenue targets.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Fluent German (native or bilingual level) and strong English communication skills.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within affiliate marketing is considered essential.
Degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Marketing, Economics or a related discipline is advantageous.
