Press Operator

The Press Operator is a professional who is responsible for operating their assigned machinery. They ensure their machine runs smoothly, works at capacity without issue and is appropriately maintained. Full time on a permanent basis with shift.

Vacancy Description: 1. To produce moulded parts as per the relevant work instructions 2. Operate injection/compression machines 3. Loading and unloading of press machine following work instructions specific to the article 4. Responsible for checking machine settings and materials prior to commencing 5. Checking each individual lift to ensure quality levels are maintained 6. Understand and complete the works order cards 7. Communicate non-conforming issues to immediate supervisor 8. Understand the need for Quality control and comply with this at all times 9. Complete performance sheets daily 10. Responsible for cleaning their work area to keep the place clean and tidy 11. Any other duties as requested by management
