Grands Suites Hotel is seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation, safety, and comfort of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across hotel facilities (e.g. plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, A/C).
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and departments.
Keep maintenance records and report issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Ensure tools, equipment, and maintenance areas are well-organised and functional.
Support daily maintenance tasks such as pool checks, lighting repairs, and general facility upkeep.
Maintain safety and hygiene standards in all tasks.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure service excellence.

Requirements:

Previous experience in general maintenance or handyman work, preferably in a hotel or similar setting.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, air conditioning, and carpentry.
Able to work independently and take initiative.
Physically fit and comfortable performing manual tasks (lifting, climbing, confined spaces).
Good communication and organisational skills.
Familiar with safety procedures and use of maintenance tools.
Ability to use Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
