Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Investment Counsel, based in Malta, with opportunities for travel and remote work. The SIC will be responsible for overseeing and advising on investment transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include research and development of corporate structures, drafting and reviewing contracts, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, providing legal advice on investment matters, and supporting the organisation with strategic advancement and risk mitigation solutions.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Financial and Commercial Law.
Proficiency in financial structures, related document preparation, including instruments, memorandums, policies, contracts and others.
Experience in participation in negotiations during transactions, providing sound advice to stakeholders.
Thorough understanding of Investment Funds, related regulations and risk management practices.
Exceptional analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Prior experience in alternative investment funds or asset management is an advantage.
A legal degree and licensure to practice law, with relevant professional experience.

· Prior experience in alternative investment funds or asset management.
