Cast Group and one of its subsidiaries, Cast Renting Limited, whose main sector is renting of commercial and residential apartments, offices and Hostels around Sliema, St. Julians, Msida and Gzira areas are currently seeking to recruit a full-time Drafter to work within the group.

Key Responsibilities

Create accurate floor plans, elevations, layouts, sections, and technical drawings based on project requirements and site measurements.
Develop and update drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software, ensuring correct scale, dimensions, and labelling.
Conduct site visits and measurements to gather accurate information for preparing and updating drawings.
Make revisions to drawings based on architect, engineer, client, contractor, or site requirements.
Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, specifications, and technical details, correcting errors before submission.
Prepare and maintain as-built drawings reflecting completed construction, renovation, and modification works.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, contractors, and site teams to ensure accurate drawings.
Maintain proper drawing records, file naming, numbering, revisions, and document control.
Identify discrepancies, design conflicts, and technical issues and report them to the relevant team members.
Provide drafting support for construction, renovation, refurbishment, and maintenance projects while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Drafter or in a similar role.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD and drafting software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Good organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
